"In the Studio"

Posted by seventhray (Wayland, United States) on 11 March 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

Well I got sick of taking snow pictures so I decided to move to the "studio" until spring comes. I was inspired to do this photo session from a fellow photographer. While it was utterly frustrating I really enjoyed the challenge. I would of prefered a 35mm camera over a digital for this type of studio work but I only have a digital so I had to make due. The only good thing about a digital in this situation is you can take picture after picture with out waisting a lot of film that cost a lot of money. Tricking the camera to focus properly on the drip was nerve racking (at least it is with my camera) and not catching the drip when you thought you did was a pisser also. But all and all it was a fun challenge that sparked many more idea's for more studio photo's.

This pic is one I really liked and thought would be a neat to post. I do have more I will put up in the next couple of days so check back to see some really cool clips!

I hope you enjoy the photo!
Until next time

I've never tried this but I can imagine how difficult it is. The end result looks worth the effort though, excellant shot!

I love this one to.. You really are so good at this it's amazing how you can get the right shot I could do this over & over again and I don't think I would capture this. It seems like I love them all....so confused....LOL
