This is one of the most CREAPIEST bugs I've ever encountered! Unique, beautiful but creapy! I don't think it was too happy about me getting in it's face to photograph it either! It charged me at one point! It also kept looking at me like "do you mind woman!" But after numerous bouts of goose bumps and crawling around on the ground for what seemed to be a 'coons age, I got the shot I liked and off went the praying mantis never to be seen again!

The being charged part aside, excellent work on this one! The colors are very nice, and the detail is also pretty nice. Good work!

My kids thought it was real funny when I was on the ground crawling around after a creapy bug but it was worth it! We don't see the praying mantis to much around here (thank God!) so I took many, many shots of it.
