Gasping Goose

Posted by seventhray (Wayland, United States) on 26 October 2006 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

This goose was not squawking because of his wing but actually hissing at me because he felt I was to close. I was a ways back and used my zoom to get the shot, but I respectfully backed off anyways and gave him his space!

Yeah you have to give them space. I forgot too once and one of them decided to attack my camera bag and my foot. Lesson learned.

My that must of been an un-nerving moment! When they start comming at me I walk quickly in another direction as calmly as I can. My son charges right after them, he freaks me out when he does that, I'm like "Ahhhhh Caleb what heck are you doing get away from them!!" They never attack him they just go squaken the other way with their wings a flappen! I tell him to watch out because some day they wont and also it is not nice to chase them!

Thank you badala for the complement!
